What they're saying

NACo has launched a website for you to declare your support for a candidate. Here's just a sample of what people are saying about their candidate:

Danny Yocom, a commissioner from Gaines County, Arkansas supports Mike Huckabee for his "conservative family values."

Kathleen Johnson in Cowlitz County, Washington says that she supports Hillary Clinton because she's a "good decision maker" and "understands the average citizen."

John Edwards has a supporter in Franklin County, Ohio Commissioner Marilyn Brown, "He has the vision and ability to bring people together to support a domestic agenda that is important to local governments."

Larry Isom, a judge from Reagan County, Texas likes that Fred Thompson isn't a "professional politician" and isn't "caught up in the hoopla of Washington."

Barack Obama is called "a leader of the next generation" who "will help our nation prepare for the challenges of the future" by supporter Douglas County, Nebraska Commissioner Christopher Rodgers.

Santa Fe County, New Mexico Commissioner Harry Montoya is supporting his homestate Governor, Bill Richardson. Montoya believes that Richardson's "experience will allow him to begin working effectively, immediately."

And Joe Biden is endorsed by Judge David Jenkins of Spencer County, Kentucky. Jenkins says that Biden has the "most experience and patience to lead the Country in a responsible manner."
